Id like a skin with a similar style to the FrontRow skin seen HERE (http://www.cdartdisplay.com/forum/index.php?topic=830.0). However, Id like it if it wasnt full-screen.

Right now Im using ThaFrame from OtisBee, but I was looking for something even cleaner, and doing away with the frame. Something simply with just the artwork, no effects or textures over the art (at least nothing more than a shine), with a shear perspective, and simple info display and controls.

EDIT: Also, I like the lyrics feature, so a simple transparent black lyrics window with controls would also be awesome.

I'm fairly certain there is a similar non-fullscreen skin. Browse through the Skin Gallery (http://www.cdartdisplay.com/index.php?categoryid=2), I'm sure you'll find one you like.

Ive taken a pretty good look through the gallery, and ones available from dA, but I guess Im nit-picky haha. My favorite so far is ThaFrame though. Is there any way I can add the lyrics window from another skin onto ThaFrame? If I could, Id easily stick with this one.

Just replace the Lyrics folder with the style you prefer; i.e., %Program Files%\CD Art Display\Skins\Default\Lyrics

btw...
there's an easy way to create a similar FrontRow skin all by yourself.

open the SkinEditor and click on the first icon (far left) which is used in order to create a new skin.
if clicked CAD will prompt you to enter a name for your new skin.
please do that and confirm with "ok".
next you'll be shown a basic skin using no graphics but only elements that are already integrated in CAD.
besides, the SkinEditor has automatically switched to the "edit" window.
go to Case & Cover Effects and have a play with the Case & Cover Shear X and Y Axis settings.
in case the cover would get cut off you can adjust that while altering the extra area values in that same Case & Cover Effects window.
the result would be a plain cover being sheared and if you like you can edit the textline positions, so the skin would look like a mini and no-fullscreen version of that FrontRow skin. ;)

well, just an idea tho. :D
