Larger album art

Is there any way to make the album art 300x300 pixels?

Basically, the size of the album art depends on the skin you are using.

But in general, you can increase the size as following:

- Open CAD's Skin Editor
- Go to "Edit" tab
- Click on "Case and Cover" on the left side
- Edit the width and height of the cover as seen on the attached screenshot


But I suggest you to use a skin with a bigger cover size.

Thanks, I was able to change the album art and text positions, etc. But is there any way to change the cover size?

You'll need to increase the size of the cover with an image tool like GIMP or Paint.NET, but that will cause a blurry looking cover.

To avoid misunderstandings: With "cover", you mean the "frame" by which the album art is surrounded, right?

May I also ask you, of which skin you are talking (I'm just curious)?

Yes, the skin that overlays the album art. Oh, and i'm using the default skin.

I increased the size of the case for you quickly. But it's kinda blurry now.

Strange thing, the attached images is a JPG file, but it should be a PNG. Nevertheless, I zipped the file for you and attached it to this post. Simply replace the case.png with the existing one and make your adjustments.

if you're trying to make a big version of the default2 skin, there is a large PNG there already. it's in skins/default2/styles/maximized

i made a big skin out of it a few months ago. looks great :D
