Question regarding google amazon and others...

Dear there,

first of all, you're doing a really great job with with soft, i'm really impressed, simple, beautiful and free.

I have a couple of question/request:

- When i try to search a covers via google image, i don't know how to put the cover on a file!

- Sometimes i let the soft search and found for an appropriate covers, but since all my files are not tagged properly, it lost the covers! Unfortunately, when i try to edit the tag directly in winamp, i've got an error meggage who say that i can't edit the file while reading it.
Of course, i try to stop the playback and then edit but the same pop up error shows again.

- Is there anyway to choose another covers provider than amazon?

- As a request, is there any possibility to put a functionality like when you take a new covers, you can the URL of the site provider in the Tag so that whenever you're play the file from another place, the covers can show itself automatically?

CAD does NOT embed the cover into the file.

I think this has nothing to do with CAD because I can't reproduce the issue. I can edit a file with or without ID3 cover tag.

For now CAD will NOT write tags.

Is there any options to let CAD search the cover automatically in stand alone mode (foxtunes). And change the covers only if it don't suit our taste?

edit: i just made a test with foxtunes, the soft search automatically and furthermore do always he right choice when choosing a cover. which is not the case for CAD.

Is this supposed to mean that it is going to be implemented in future release or that i did not make the right tuning?

CAD main goal is not to search covers. However you have basically two options:
1. automatically searching: CAD will download an apply
2. and if you check "Prompt before download" you will be able to interact with what CAD is searching and select one of the six covers CAD may download

Then i did not check the right property because CAD never get automatically the covers.

There's an automatic download bug in RC5.
