I always wanted to have such an easy way to manipulate my interfaces, i'm used to this from Opera, but have never encountered any other supported with so many options.
one small question: id3-tags with no content are always included nevertheless, either as 0 or as Unknown or some other default value. Could you please reconsider the Default-Values of these fields? I'd rather have em empty.
Winamp has a solution using Winamp ATF:
%blah% denotes a metadata field.
$blah() denotes a function call.
[] means "don't display unless metadata was found".
‘ ’ (single quotation marks) outputs raw text without parsing. eg. ‘blah$blah%blah[]’ which will output all the string and ignore the special characters ($,%,[,]).

i know it makes the parser a lot more complicated, so maybe an easy solution would be, to have some toggle button "[x] Omit empty tags".
