What a brilliant progam :).

Anyway, I am down to a few small problems that I can't quite figure out.

Some background:

I have all my MP3's in a single folder (about 4,000 mp3's). I have done this since MP3's first surfaced several years ago. I also don't burn entire albums but rather burned a lot of singles from CD's, etc so this strategy has worked for me. All the filenames start with artist and then song name so it's always been easy for me to play songs from this directory even though it is rather large.

I have validated that all my MP3's have tags (ID3v2.3).

I am using Windows Vista Ultimate.

I am using the latest version of WinAMP.

With that information, I am slightly confused as to whether or not your program will make an automatic attempt to download album art without intervention from me. I have figured out how to right click, select cover, and then go to search to find the right album art that belongs to the song. My first question is:

1) Will I need to do this for all 4,000 songs to have all the album art appear correctly?

2) When I play a song that doesn't have any album art associated with it, for some stange reason I get a bizarre album cover that shows up as default (it's a cover from the Notting Hill movie soundtrack which I am sure I have some songs that belongs to but for some strange reason it is showing up as the default). Is there a way to have just no cover show up if it doesn't know what it's supposed to be?

Thanks for your help and keep up the great work.

Answering question #2 by myself. I had a hidden jpg in my MP3's folder called 'albumart{2435dgftr65756}.jpg or something like that and had to attrib it and delete it and now I do get a blank cover by default so that's good. I think it came from me trying other album art programs, gadgets and widgets today.

Now if I can figure out how to somehow download covers automatically without having to do a manual search every time.

If this program can't do it is there any program that exists that can read a folder and then make an attempt at downloading the right album art in a batch type of mode?

Thanks again.

Since you have all songs in one folder you should go to CAD "Control Panel>Read Cover" and delete the item "Load any Image from Song Folder".

CAD can download a cover automatically ("Control Panel>Download") everytime a new song is played.

I remember to use (long time ago) a tool to download covers in a batch mode. I had to organize my collection (one folder per CD) in order to get it working. I don't think you'd like that. Anyway, I don't remember the program name. Sorry. If I find something I tell you.

Thank you for your feedback! :)
