I never got CD Art Display to work, but now that I've formatted my hard drive I decided to try again, only to find myself stuck again.

I'm using MusikCube 1.0. Here's how CDAD is shown:

Notice the cover never shows, but the (invisible) buttons actually work.

From "Tips and FAQ regarding CD Art Display" topic:

1) Go to MC "Preferences>Misc>Tunage" then enable the feature (don't forget to check it) and write:

Filename: song.txt
Line to write: $FILENAME | $ARTIST | $TITLE | $ALBUM | $GENRE | $TRACKNUM | $RATING

2) still in MC check "Enable Global Hotkeys" (just the default ones will work for now)

3) In CAD make sure to set the MC full path ("Control Panel>Player Selector") even if you don't want to start the player.

In addition, go to "Control Panel>Read cover" and check if you need any other way to show CAD where your covers are.

Make sure to use CAD RC 6 and see Help for details.

By the way, are you using Vista or XP?

don't forget to check itThis did it. I didn't notice the top "Enable" checkbox. Thanks a lot for your efficient and fast reply.

I don't blame you. The checkbox is kind of hidden. It could be in a better location or at least disable the controls if unchecked.
