Hi guys !
Here's my latest skin for CAD.
I fristly did this skin for my personal use. I tried to do a skin that fit with my desktopX theme along with the Azenis wallpaper made by Yingjunjiu (http://yingjunjiu.deviantart.com/art/Azenis-2-Wallpaper-40745954).
Then i asked OtisBee to help me out, testing some stuff on it. He told me i should consider releasing it.
So after adding almost all the features CAD can offer, i decided to publish it.
However, i don't know if it will fit with other wallpapers an/or bright windows themes, but here it is.

download from here (http://www.cdartdisplay.com/index.php?categoryid=2&p13_sectionid=3&p13_fileid=143)

Skinned lyrics Window with fade out masks
Animation while in pause
CD spinning transition
Smooth scrolling text with fade out masks
Custom progress bar
Custom volume bar
Custom toolbar with :
Show player button
Show menu button

You will need the latest build to use this skin.

As usual, let me know if you have bugs/comments/suggestions.
(although i m not sure if i will follow them, since it works perfectly here ;D )

More skins to come...

Hi Zento

When you said "...after adding almost all the features CAD can offer..." you really mean it, don't you? ;D

One word review: amazing!

By the way, your buttons look really nice with a mouse over fade effect! ;)

hi Zento!

this one is so amazing!
i can't believe that you even thought for a second to maybe not release the skin.
congratulations on your decision.
very very beautiful!

after all those skins you've created there's a certain handwriting to your work which makes it easy to divide your skins from others. :)
maybe it's because of your affinity to JJ Ying's Azenis stuff.
and maybe you became so deeply in love with his wallpaper, that you can't imagine any longer that your work might look cool on other walls as well. (i believe this was the main reason why you first hesitated to release the skin. ;) )

...well, i'm glad to tell you that your CD Player made a pretty cool impression on my current desktop.

...
two things though....

...i assume you mostly use photoshop for your skinning tasks, so perhaps you should think about a different bevel utilization when it comes to the outside structure of your lyrics window.

i don't know what it's called in english but there's a combobox in the bevel's layer effect dialog window where you can chose a certain technique for the bevel.

here at my place it's the first (top) item in the list which IMHO would lead to a much smoother appearance.

...the other thing is that with some of your skins (Azenis, Form and this one) i'm really having trouble to read whether a skin is rated with 0,2,3 or more stars.
although you use different colors for both rated and unrated (idle) states they still have the same brightness.
so if you use a -let's say- darker setting for the idle stars, it would result in a much improved readability.
another solution may be to add some glow to those stars indicating a rated state.

other than that your CD Player is another well designed, very detailed, functional and original piece of art.
i would still be stunned if i had not forced myself to write this comment. :D

magnificent work, Zento!
keep it up...
;)
