Can you keep the older builds hosted? The reason I ask is because newer builds seem to cause problems for me, as well as the new cover feature (while infinately neat and great) ultimately slows me down in my quest to download covers. The old version Build 176 I believe was the last version that auto downloaded covers and displayed them without having to confirm and choose a cover.

1. Install the last official release (RC4):
http://fileforum.betanews.com/detail/CD_Art_Display_formerly_Winamp_CD_Case/1109367710/1
2. Try the last build but make sure to replace the CAD.exe (do NOT run CAD.exe outside of its install folder)
http://www.closetosoftware.com/temp/cadrc4b334.zip
3. In order to get automatic download uncheck "Prompt before download" ("Control Panel>Download") which is checked by default
4. If you still got errors then let me know what is happening; you're the first reporting such error issue.
Thank you!

Man I feel like an ass. I didn't even see that option in it
Oh and one more thing, amazon has been adding white borders to their covers, might want to keep that in mind for the future, makes them look fugly at times

I have noticed that white border when I save a cover directly from Opera. But when I download from CAD I always get without it. At least 'till now!

I think it depends on the method. When you save directly from their website, its a huge border, but in CAD, its a thin line, 1px by 1px along the left and top sides, then about 2px by 2px on the bottom and right. Heres a picture to better illustrate :

Edit : I think it also depends on which cover you choose, usually the first choice will always have it, while the other selections will not. But in cases where you only get one result...

Maybe that 2px is just a bad crop... I got some covers with that but some are almost perfect!

So CAD automatically crops?

No, no. A bad crop made by Amazon. :)

Thats what confuses me. If you right click save as on a cover on their website it leaves a huge border, but when CAD downloads it, the border is tiny or nonexistant

I really don't know what's going on at Amazon.
