Hey everyone!

A few days ago, I've found a cool skin called Toaster Aero (http://deavy.deviantart.com/art/Toaster-Aero-74180495) on deviantART. Unfortunately, this skin was for Toaster, a plug-in for Winamp. Because of those circumstances, I asked Deavy (http://deavy.deviantart.com/) for his permission to port this skin for CAD.

Well, he gave me permission and I started porting it. I also did some modifications and added some styles, but basically, the main look and feel was created by Deavy.

I hope you all enjoy the skin as much as I do. Please feel free to download and comment ;).

Update 16 January 2008:

- Added substyles with white tool-, volume-, and progressbar
- Added substyles with same height for cover and textelemt [Thanks to OtisBee for helping me!]
- Some small improvements

-All in all, I've added 24 new substyles!

Many thanks go out to OtisBee and Carlos who helped me with some issues I had and of course to Deavy who allowed me to port his skin!

great port Operator!

on first glance it's looking just the same like the original toaster plug.
it goes without saying that this should always be the main goal when it comes to porting a skin. :D

only on second sight i've recognized the rounded cover corners you've set, which in my opinion is a change for the better. ;)

also the tool- and volumebars are very useful additions, that really comfort the skin.
besides they make the skin far more operable than to have only a notifierlike setup.

two things though and i know they might be just a matter of taste...

1. how about some white tool- and volumebars (resp. progressbar in your advanced styles)? at my idea they would make a better match to the text appearance then.

2. perhaps you'd like to consider moving the toolbar just a few steps to the right, so it would be in line with the textlines (same margin to the left panel edge). <--me being picky again ;D

one thing that could be considered a somewhat trademark of yours, is the fact that no matter which skin i've ever created and released, you were always (and i can't think of any exception) asking for an 180° version of it.
that's why i wasn't surprised at all when i found all the according 180° styles in the skin's styles subfolder.
nice one! :D

i know this would move a few steps away from the main goal to port a skin as close to the original as possible, but i think it would be just great if you could add a style where both the coverframe and panel would have the same height.
just an idea. ;)

now to come to an end...
...i'd like to say: congratulations on your 2nd skin release and thanks for sharing, my friend!

@ OtisBee: Glad you like the update. It was you who pushed me to add more styles and I really love the new "White"-substyle :)

Thanks a lot :D

Btw: Did you notice that the red star in the lower right corner has exactly 32 eges? ;)
