Hello Carlos I am using your CAD (great soft!!) for a few weeks now and I still have a little problem witch none of your update could resolve yet.

Look at this capture.

http://shinjin.free.fr/snap.jpg

I wonder why the cover isn't displaying on the CAD "box". There is a folder.jpg in the album folder, but nothing on CAD...

And here is the best part : some album covers aren't displayed, but some are. I just don't understand why?! They are all JPG files. All named folder.jpg.

Do you have any idea?

I use CAD the same way you do. A folder.jpg in every album folder.

It's working here.

Can you check your "Control Panel>Read cover" settings?

You should have something like this in your list:

%songfolder%folder.jp*

In addition, once I had a similar problem and all I did was open the picture and save it as again and then CAD showed that cover. By the way, I was using ACDSee. :)

You can also send me one of the problematic cover so I can test here too.

Finally, can you send me or post the path of the song in your screenshot?

Thanks!

I've checked my control panel and I have the tag you wrote.

Don't work

My system is japanese so the folder's name is in japanese caracters, but I don't think this is the origin of the probleme because the cover who works is just in a folder next using also japanese caracters.

E:\サウンドトラック\Pirates of the Caribbean
(e:\soundtrack\Pirates of the Caribbean)

CAD does not have full unicode support which means it will NOT work properly with Japanese characters.

All right, now it works...

It was so simple.

Anyway, if someday you fell like you have some free time to waste, just try to add unicode support to your soft! ;-P

Anyway, thank you very much!!

Ok, I've just realized that CAD can show covers for folders whose name is written with roman characters or ideograms. But when there's a mix between ideograms/roman characters and typical japanese characters (hiragana & katakana) or just typical japanese characters it can display the cover. :-(

EDIT : CAD can display the cover if there's two japanese characters MAX in the folder (main or sub).

Can't you make it just like 8? ;-P

I have some control limitation that's why a full unicode was not implemented yet. Right now I can't do nothing about it.
