ever heard about a guy named Bobbyperux (link) (http://bobbyperux.deviantart.com/)?
it's needless to say that he created some incredibly amazing artwork (i.e. icons and walls).

well, i discovered an icon of Bobbyperux recently which he released for a free usage as a psd file (link) (http://bobbyperux.deviantart.com/art/PLASMA-TV-87058167).
simply watching the preview of that icon got me starring at it for hours.
i just couldn't get enough.

that's why i finally decided to contact Bobbyperux and informed him about my intentions to create a CAD fullscreen skin that's based on his beautiful creation.

the result can be viewed and downloaded below.

i agree that an upright rectangle is an unusual appearance for a cover.
but in my opinion it just adds that tiny little something, because the cover looks like a highprized deLuxe hardcover booklet cd edition now.
very classy, i think. ;)
besides, although stretched the cover still doesn't look too (if at all) distorted.

after all it seems to be yet another matter of taste. ;)

I'm not seeing the displayed album covers so either I'm suffering from dimentia
or I've not configured something correctly...the album in question is displaying correctly
in all my other skins but not this one.

'Otis' have I perhaps screwed up somewhere...(again).

....that's odd.
since nobody else reported this issue i can only guess that it's not skin related.
i know i've chosen a somewhat unusual cover appearance (upright rectangled), but that's a bit off from the regular "unusual", i think.
:D

i suppose you have selected "Cover" in Skin Editor >> Case and Cover >> show at front: ,right?
well, why wouldn't you, because it's a per skin setting and stored in the downloaded skin.ini by default. :-\

i'm trying to imagine what you see.
is there a "nocover" image displayed (like in the skin's preview image above) or is there literally no cover at all?
if it looks different from the preview image above, perhaps you can post a screenshot?

are you using this skin in screensaver mode or have you switched from another skin?
what was the previous skin you were using before PLASMA TV?

maybe a fresh download and a reinstall of the skin might help?

however, i think i'm fishing in muddy waters here. ;D

thanks 'Otis' for trying to help...I didn't find what was wrong exactly but after minimizing it and then
restoring it the cover appeared and only continues to do so if I minimize it first each time I run it...strange eh?

(*scratches head and wonders if vista playing tricks again*)

anyway it's working and I'm ok with that fact...thanks again.
