CAD works great for all of my music library with one exception. It will not show the folder.jpg in the following folder:

F:\mp3\_Soundtracks\(2003) The Lord of the Rings - The Return of the King

I've tried downloading from different sources (amazon.com and gamingillustrated.com), and the image shows fine immediately after downloading. It even shows as long as I continue listening to music in the same folder. But as soon as I listen to something else, and come back, the image won't be displayed.

Are you using the last CAD build?

If not can you try it?

Finally, what's your player?

I'm using CAD RC4 Build 547 with Winamp 5.24 - both the latest versions, if I'm not mistaken.

I did a little experimenting with my music, and it turned out that the directory name had nothing to do with it. I changed its name and drive, and the problem persisted. Which makes me think it is the mp3's themselves.

I looked at the mp3's tags with Tag&Rename, and it said they had no file cover art in the ID3v2 tags. I'm not sure what else in the tags would be throwing off CAD.

Here's an example of one of the file's ID3v2 tag (according to T&R):
Title: A Storm Is Coming
Artist: Howard Shore
Album: Lord of The Rings - The Return of The King
Year: 2003
Genre: Soundtrack
Track #: 1
Album Artist: Original Motion Picture Soundtrack
Label: Warner Bros.

They also have an ID3v1 tag. The only difference with the ID3v2 tag is the album is "Lord of The Rings - The Retur", and there is no Album Artist or Label field.

Can you send me this song (make sure it is stil buggy with CAD)?

Try to remake the entire song tag, removing the current one.

I remember that an user reported me something like that and this solved the issue.

If remaking did not work for you try the freeware mp3Tag.

I sent you the file. I also tried your suggestion (on a backup), and reconstructing the ID3 tag from scratch did fix the problem. However, I don't see what offended CAD in the first place...
