I tried to develop and improve the idea of the "Just - an experiment" style of "(Directors' CAD) Just-Lust".

This is my result.

On all styles, a single click on the case/cover opens/closes an extra panel.

As always: Enjoy it... ;)

Yes. A hard contrast to the rest of the skin.
Glad you lik it. :)

UPDATED: 2008/11/02
- fixed some things I forgot (activated forgotten scrolling on some lines, and reduced scroll speed on some lines which were too fast)

As I mentioned before, the overlay is simply brilliant.
I am very much enjoying this skin and it's proportions.
I hope you have many more "Experiments" ! :D

:) Thankies, Jaz.
I hope you do some, too. Hopefully Blu Nite was only the beginning...

The case overlay is just amazing, something I'd have liked to accomplish one of this days that I tried to make a different skin! :)

One more thing that I'm forgetting again: the toolbar is just a great idea, well done!!

I have to admit, that it was a kinda tricky thing to do.

I had to create separate shadow layers in different heights (1, 2, 3, 5, and 7px),
and had to insert them in the right order, so they would overlay correctly.
Similar the work on the toolbar. It was much like try and error, until I got it...

But in the end it was fun (especially when I saw the final result). ;D
Thanks for your kind words and for noticing the details. ;)

To be honest I can't understand how you did the toolbar by just using it (without looking the graphics and settings). ;D ;D

It's impressive.

well, you already know that i'm not a friend of the less-detailed comment, but what can i actually say about your amazing beauty here?
to be honest, i kinda envy your excellent concept idea of this outstanding overlay.png.
that's really brilliant.

personally i wouldn't have used this flora9 background and the red element tinting (as you know i'm more into the black n'blue stuff) isn't really my taste, but that's nothing compared to that awesome overlay.png.

i like all the different styles and it would be really cool if they'd be represented in the SkinEditor by their own different preview images instead of always showing the "default" one.

that's it, i guess.

i now might be able to start thinking about retiring from skinning CAD. ;D
you are capable of the most unique ideas and besides of even putting them into a perfect skin setup.

my congrats, Barberio! ;)

Thank you very much, Otis.

You are right about the previews. I think, I was just too lazy to do them.
But I will do this for the next update for sure. ;D

:o Retiring? From skinning CAD?
I hope that was meant as a joke, my friend.
I can't actually say, the CAD-world wouldn't be colorful without your contributions. But what about the black, white and grey tones? ;D
And what about elegant skins? No question: you'll have to stay... ;)

Hi everyone. :)

Just wanted to say, that I have updated the skin.
The styles are now available in blue, too.
If you decide to install it, please delete the old "Experiment" skin from your Skins folder.
