I cannot get Alexis to display the text of what song is playing and so forth. Any help? the way I use the skin was just dragged and dropped the .cskin file onto the player

You have to install the fonts provided by the skin (Alexis.ttf). Usually CAD prompts during the installation of the skin. If not, you have to install it manually. After that restart CAD.
