Clean&Clear 1.1

Hi!

First of all I want to congratulate Carlos for that fantastic piece of software, and Otisbee and the rest of the community too, of course. Sorry about my English, I hope you can understand all.

Clean&Clear is strongly based on Ultra Clean skin by Kian Hean.

I liked so much that skin, but I found myself refining various aspects of the skin to my tastes, and finally I realized that every image and nearly all the rest of the stuff was changed, so why not release it like a new skin? (Or a mod of a previous skin if you prefer).

Yeah, the case is almost the same as the original, but it’s made from scratch, and it’s perfectly square (the original was not, and I felt that a little awkward).

I wanna use only the essential features to keep it small and compact, since it’s designed to be always on top (I hide the main window of Winamp and use CAD as if it was the player). So there’s no ratings, volume bars or lyrics.

For now there’s only two styles, default and 180º, maybe I will release new styles with images instead of the letters for “no cover”, “web radio” and all that stuff.

So I’d love to receive some feedback since it’s my first skin, comments & suggestions are welcome.

...what more is there to say?

personally i would have loved a darker outline on the toolbar buttons so they would still be visible on very bright covers.
also i don't like the font setting very much. too cheap-looking, imho. a similar font appearance like in your nocover.png would be cool and would match the entire composition a lot better, i think.

I'll see what can i do with the outline on the toolbar, but i don't want to screw the look of the skin.

And i can totally see the point for your font advice, gonna fix that.

Minor changes here.

Seems that I can't make an outline or shadow to the toolbar that fits the skin, so the buttons hasn't changed.

It's a really nice skin!
I installed it but the font didn't show up. can I ask for the font separately? I think I have to manually set it up though.

The fonts are included in this skin, and CAD should prompt for installing them while installing the skin.
If they don't show up, go to the skins fonts folder, install them manually and set them up with the skin editor ("Text Style"-"Fonts").
