Amazon cover download

Since August 15th, 2009 Amazon changed the way an application should request for any information including CD cover images. Now a request should be encrypted.

As a consequence, CD Art Display 2.0 search cover feature doesn't work anymore.

Fortunately there is a new search module (alpha version I may say) under testing, available for Premium Users for this purpose, that is working very well so far.

After some feedback and fine tuning the new module will be available for all users as always.

If you use this CD Art Display feature make sure to visit us next week because the new module should be ready for a public release.

CD Art Display 3.0 Beta (May 2009 - May 2010)

  • new "one way" cover transition
  • skinned volume
  • lyrics scrollbar
  • %volumenum% tag (e.g. Line 1 just to display volume)
  • %ratingnum% tag (numeric rating information)
  • %trackpercent% tag
  • coveroverlay.png (overlay drawn ONLY over cover)
  • improved cover radius feature
  • new Notifier (toaster) feature with several skinning options
  • minimize feature will not hold CAD song information update anymore (e.g. cover)

  • Drag & Drop a skin folder over CAD to copy it to CAD Skins folder
